Overview
CrowdCouch hosts content posted by its users. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and respond to valid notices of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent “notice and action” procedures under EU law.
Reporting infringing content
If you believe content on CrowdCouch infringes your copyright, send a written notice to daviduniversebusiness@gmail.com including:
- Your name, address and contact details.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) or location of the allegedly infringing material so we can find it.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do with a valid notice
When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material in question and, where appropriate, notify the user who posted it.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentified, you may send a counter-notice to daviduniversebusiness@gmail.com including your contact details, identification of the removed content and its previous location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your signature.
Repeat infringers
We will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
